Public Art Program:
- Site visit by A.R.T.
- 2 sessions on the history and creation of public art
- 7 construction days
Choose between:
Mural Project or Tile Mosaic Project
Students learn the history and function of public art as they design and construct a mural or mosaic under the direction of an experienced A.R.T. Muralist or Mosaic Artist.
Your school provides the following for Public Art programs:
- A clean, smooth wall surface for the mural or mosaic
- An in-house liaison (e.g., school engineer) responsible for installation and obtaining needed approval for design.
- Drop cloths or protective covering for surrounding floors and walls
