2008 Open House
On April 17th, Artistic Circle members gathered at A.R.T.Õs new office space. The evening was dedicated to celebrating the lives and service of Board Members who recently passed away. Board Co-Chair Reggie Reed led the presentations which included the unveiling of a wall mural painted by A.R.T. Artist Jonathon Franklin representing a tree of life with ceramic leaves designed by A.R.T. Artists Glynnis Lessing and Jennifer Gutowski. The leaves acknowledge the names and years of service of Board Members: Kay Baran, Alice Welsh Skilling, Ellie DeKoven, and Mickey Hauser. The new Kathleen M. Baran Conference Room and the Alice Welsh Skilling Student Gallery were named in honor of those Board Members.

Private Home/Art Collection Tour
On September 4, 2007, Artistic Circle members were treated to an exclusive viewing of Modern Art in the Gold Coast home of a private collector with a focus on Abstract Expressionist work. Cocktails and hors dÕoeuvres accompanied commentary on the collection.
