Kaja Overstreet gained her MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she has also taught. Kaja has worked as a Teaching-Artist for A.R.T, bringing visual art residencies and workshops to the children and teachers of Chicago since 1990. She has designed and taught many exciting residencies including Da Vinci, Artist and Inventor and Mapmaking. A world traveler and performance artist, Kaja brings a sensibility of diverse cultures to the children she teaches through workshops such as Fables of the Middle East, Calaveras Prints of Mexico and Chinese Scrolls.
